Plate Loading Pin

If you want to make 1/2” Plate Pins, and you already built/plan on building my DIY Dumbbells and/or the DIY Kettlebell - then all you need to buy is an eyebolt and threadlocker.

I mostly use the plate pins with my DIY Cable Crossover machine exercises. However, I also like connect a handle to the plate pin with a carabiner/Spring Link (whatever YOU like to call them) and I can do even more exercises (e.g., Kettle Bell swings, “Farmer’s Carry” (if you can call it that), etc.

Quick Note about the Threadlocker. I used blue (removable) thread locker in the video only because that is what I had on hand. I would recommend the red though (permanent). Additionally, you could use epoxy or Gorilla glue. I did not mention it in the video due to the fact that the video was getting too long. However, these are both viable options as well. However, they are also messier options. Be sure not to get any of the epoxy/gorilla glue in the Cap’s internal threading (or on your socket). Also - Gorilla glue does expand 3X - so use it sparingly.
