Belt Squat / Dip Belt
This was a fun project, because it is SO easy to make, and it saves you money, as well as saves you from the discomfort of using the Chain-based Dip Belts that most people use.
Spud Inc makes the Ferrari of Belt Squat Belts.. SPUD makes TOP QUALITY stuff and I am sure that their version is OBJECTIVELY better than this. NO CONTEST! SO If you make this DIY Version and end up using it A LOT, consider buying the REAL THING from Spud!
COMFORT OPTIONS
Pay special attention to the fact that I offer three comfort enhancements at 6:36 in the video.
Full disclosure: After further testing, the Foam pipe insulation option is my favorite. It is VERY comfortable and very easy to assemble. In case you were wondering, I used a 6 foot piece of foam pipe insulation. Further, I added a few more pieces of duct tape to prevent the strap from escaping the seam of the foam pipe insulation (in the video I used 3 pieces, but now I have 5 pieces of duct tape on).
Foam pipe insulation is cheaper than a pool noodle, but if you happen to already have a pool noodle, then feel free to use it instead.
